Two Minnesota lawmakers have been shot in their separate homes. One
of the lawmakers , Dem state representative Melissa Hortman – was murdered. Her husband, Mark, was also killed, Minnesota’s governor, Tim Walz,
confirmed. at a press conference on Saturday. He said the shooting
“appears to be a politically motivated assassination”. Democratic state senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were both
shot multiple times and are now out of surgery, and Walz said he was
“cautiously optimistic” both will survive.
The man who tried to assassinate Trump was a gun-loving Trump supporter who later turned on him. Right-wing media blamed Democrats, because of course. The alleged Minnesota shooter is an anti-abortion Christian nationalist w/ a list with other Dems as targets. They're still blaming liberals.
