Saturday, April 19: No Kings!
3–6 pm*, 4/19, State House, Concord, NH (107 North Main St.)
*Try not to show up early; a different event will be using the space earlier in the day.
Let’s build on the momentum! On April 5, about 1,400 “Hands Off!” and similarly themed events were held around the country to protest the current administration’s kleptocratic policies and actions. An estimated 4,000 people showed up to protest in front of the State House in Concord, despite the rain and cold. Others protested in Portsmouth, Nashua, and other NH towns. Nationwide, an estimated 5 million Americans turned out to make their voices heard.
The organization behind that and other recent protests, 50501, is planning another one on Saturday, April 19, from 3 to 6 pm, to grow attendance, engagement, and visibility. And just as the April 5 protest involved several activist groups, so will next weekend’s event.
Bring friends! Carpool!
