We want to draw your attention to Project 2025, a Republican Initiative that promises to be dangerous to our Republic. It's a dangerous plan, so it's critical that we are familiar with it, and understand what it means if the Republicans succeed.

Here are some references you can use to familiarize yourself with it that are not so extensive.

Quick overview of the Trump Project 2025. Project 2025 is a 900 page long document, but Ester Turner from Rochester developed a thumbnail sketch which I will share with you.

EDUCATION
Eliminate the Department of Education, Title 1, and Head Start.
CLIMATE
Close down the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and gut the Environmental Protection Agency.
IMMIGRATION
Severely reduce visas, suspend country lists for H-2A and H-2B temporary worker visas, block aid to states that allow immigrants access to in-state tuition, and end the Dream Act.
CRONYISM
In Schedule F, transfer ~50K federal workers from civil service protection to at-will (the will of the President) employees.
FISCAL POLICY
Abolish the Federal Reserve.
OTHER REFORMS
Roll back protections for LGBTQ, reduce access to abortion, cut overtime protections, slash food assistance, weaken Social Security and Medicaid, and stop efforts to lower prescription drug costs.
Cut taxes for corporations and for the wealthy.
