Dear Strafford County Democrat: The Strafford County Democratic Committee will be holding its biennialcaucus in the Council Chambers at Somersworth City Hall (1 Government Way) on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 3pm to 6pm for the purpose to elect the new officers. Any registered Democrat in Strafford County can attend the caucus, run for a position on the Executive Committee, and vote. Nominations and elections to the following Strafford County Executive Committee positions, which also include membership to the New Hampshire Democratic Party State Committee, that will occur at the caucus: Chair Vice Chair Secretary Treasurer At-Large (5 positions available) The following Strafford County Executive Committee positions do not include membership to the New Hampshire Democratic Party State Committee: At-Large (1 position available) Digital and Social Media Coordinator Please also know, that in order to be elected to the Strafford County Democratic Committee, one does not need to be in attendance. A nomination of any Democrat in Strafford County can be taken and seconded from the floor at the time of the caucus.
