The rains have made finishing prep work in the garden spaces very difficult. The Public Works Dept has done an excellent job trying to fit in work when they could move equipment in and complete some of the establishing work for the Farmington Community Gardens. Though the establishing work is not completed there are spaces in the gardens where we can begin to work, where we will not be in the way of Public Works. Farmington Community Gardens will have work days Saturday, June 16th and Sunday, June 17th, starting at 9:00 AM each day. Please contact to let the Stewardship Committee know you will attend and to get location information and directions. We will probably work for a few hours each day and will take applications and collect dues for those who have not done so.

Your help is critical to our opening the Community Gardens and getting them established.  Please plan on donating some time to help get this project off the ground.  We'll need anything and everything you'd like to bring: tiller,  tools, toil, and any rocks you can find or fit!  We can use all of it, so if you think we might use it, throw it in your vehicle and bring it along.
