Help 9/11 Commemoration In Farmington-Participate In "Day In The Life of Farmington" Photo Day

Sunday, Sept. 11 is the 10-year anniversary of the infamous day know as 9/11.

The Goodwin Library would like to honor the memory of this day by asking people in the community to take one digital photo of "Your Farmington" — something that represents what is important to residents of the town.

It can be anything from a family photo, home or garden to a favorite local restaurant, walking trail or quiet spot. Everyone is encouraged to help in this project — adults, children, veterans, town officials, members of organizations and churches; the whole community.

Take a digital photo of at least 300 d.p.i. and e-mail it along with a title, e-mail address, name and phone number to goodwinprograms@ gmail.com.

A release form will be available online and at the library. Note that children and teenagers need a parents' signature on the release form. The library will be collating and presenting these photos through several future programs. The deadline for receipt of the Day in the Life of Farmington photos is Sept. 30.

Call the library at 755-2944 ext. 2 for more information.
