Human Rights Campaign Press Release-HB370 Will Strip Anti-bullying Protections From LGBTQ Students

As many of you know, New Hampshire currently has a strong anti-bullying law that keeps students safe in our schools. However, the New Hampshire legislature has introduced a bill (HB 370) that would strip anti-bullying protections for LGBT students, and that's just plain wrong.

Please add your voice to our campaign to say NO to hostile school environments for LGBT students, and NO to HB 370!

HB 370 has already passed the House, and it's absolutely critical for LGBT students that we stop it in the Senate. Please attend the Senate hearing for HB 370 will be Tuesday April 19th at 1 PM at the State House in Concord. Personal testimony is the most effective, so please come and share your story!

For more information, or to RSVP for the committee hearing in Concord, please contact Katie at katie.drapcho@hrc.org or (202) 716-1650.
