Attention!

We have moved the date of our county caucus to May 17th. The New Hampshire Democratic Party (NHDP) will focus on special elections and increasing turnout for county caucuses across the state in April. The SCDC EC agreed to move our date to May 17th in response to NHDP's focused efforts. We are sorry for any inconvenience.  

The Strafford County Democratic Committee will hold its caucus on Monday May17th at 6:30pm

Any registered Democrat in Strafford County can vote in the caucus and run for a position on the Executive Committee. 

• Four officers: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer - will be elected, along with at-large positions on the committee. 
• These positions all include membership to the New Hampshire Democratic State Committee. 
• A person does not have to be present at the caucus to be nominated and elected to the committee. 
• Any registered Democrat in Strafford County may be nominated and, upon a second, included on the committee ballot.
  

 
 

Democrats interested in running for county officer positions or at-large positions may pre-nominate themselves ahead of the caucus.

The form to self nominate will be available now and will close on April 30th at 5:00 PM. Nominations, as in previous years, will also be accepted “from the floor” at the caucus.
