#FarmingtonNH Town Election Day- Tuesday, March 10th 2020- January 31st 2020 Last Day To File

Tuesday, March 10. Town Election Day.  Town Hall, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

The time to register for elected positions and get on the ballot is in progress right now!  It started on Wednesday, January 22 and will run through Friday, January 31.   If you want to run for office in Farmington, you need to declare your candidacy with the Town Clerk at the Municipal Building before this coming Friday.  We need some quality candidates, so please consider running, or urging town folks you know to run for office.

1 position on the Selectboard (3 years)
3 positions on the Budget Committee (2 for 3 years, 1 for 2 years)
3 positions on the School Board (2 for 3 years, 1 for 2 years)
1 position Trustee of Trust Funds (3 year)

The "Town Elections" Page has been added to the Puddledock press website for this election cycle.
The Puddledock Press has posted a series of questions for Candidates to answer, if they so choose, so the voters can get to know them a little better and understand their positions so they may make informed decisions when they vote on March 13.  Answers or statements submitted by the Candidates will be linked to the Candidate's name, on that page, next to the position they hope to win in the election, when they respond.  We hope that this service will be of value to our voters and Candidates alike.
