"The Forgotten Side of the American Revolution"

Revolutionary War Reenactor-Social Studies Teacher



Jeff Durell has been a historical reenactor for thirty years. His program will consist of telling the forgotten side of the American Revolution through the eyes of the British Soldier. The program will include stories, a manual of arms, and a display of the kit and accouterments of the British Soldier while in service in America. Jeff welcomes questions from the audience and promises an interactive and engaging experience. When not reenacting Revolutionary War battles, or presenting as his alter ego, the, Dreadful Grenadier, Jeff teaches middle school social studies in Barrington.


Membership Meeting

There will be a Farmington Historical Society membership meeting prior to the presentation at 6:00 PM.  A meet and greet with the presenter along with light refreshments will begin after the meeting at 7:00, with the program starting at 7:15 PM.

The public is welcome to attend all our meetings and programs.  Consider joining the Historical Society and helping preserve and protect Farmington History.  Annual membership dues are $5.00.
