STRAFFORD COUNTY
DEMOCRATS TO MEET WEDNESDAY
The Strafford County Democratic Committee
will meet Wednesday, August 15, at 7 p.m. at the Rochester Community Center,
150 Wakefield st., Rochester.
The community center is north of the downtown, on rt. 125. The meeting is open to the public and all
interested Democrats and undeclared voters are invited to attend.
The county committee serves Democratic
candidates and voters in Barrington, Dover, Durham, Farmington, Lee, Madbury,
Middleton, Milton, New Durham, Rochester, Rollinsford, Somersworth, and the
town of Strafford.
Wednesday’s agenda includes final planning
for the county’s annual Democratic party picnic, which will be Sunday, August
26, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Millennium Park in Somersworth.
The county committee has produced a
new bumper sticker in its “Thank Democrats” series. The new one, which reads
simply “Obama ♥ Cares,” will be available
at the meeting and can be purchased at the OFA office in Dover, 660 Central Ave.

City and town chairs will report on their
committees’ recent activities. The committee chairs are Duane Kimball,
Barrington; Wendy Alley, Dover; Tim Horrigan, Durham; Manny Krasner,
Farmington; Sue Mayer, Lee; Susann Foster Brown, Milton; John Babcock, New
Durham; Sandy Teti, Rochester; Salme Perry, Rollinsford; Hiram Connell, Somersworth;
and Bob Perry, Strafford.
