​The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts invites the LGBTQ+ community (and those who love them) to Hanson Street and Central Square, in downtown Rochester, for a free public pride celebration on Saturday, August 25th, 2018 from 1-4pm, with remarks at 3:30pm.

Our mission is to promote unity, visibility, inclusivity, equality, and a positive image of the
​lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ+) community.

This event is made possible by Rochester Main Street (supported in part by a grant from the New Hampshire State Council On The Arts ​and the National Endowment for the Arts.)

 We will break bread together in the good company of friends and neighbors who share our Democratic values, our passion for building a better world and our commitment to social, economic, environmental and racial justice.
We will make our voices heard as we come together to celebrate our extraordinary Senator Watters as he is introduced by a special mystery guest who knows him well.  We will honor Senator David Watters for his service to our local communities, our proud state and our beloved country.

Our Silent Auction, a cash bar, a panoply of appetizers and delicious home-made desserts will enhance the festivities. This will be a fun, FUNdraiser.

All proceeds from this major annual fundraiser go to support local Democratic candidates and the all-volunteer work of the Dover Democratic Committee in our community.

Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 after March 31.

Upcoming Events-Candidates-Voting 2018 -Town Meeting 2018

    • Thursday, March 8, 2018: TriTown Democrats Meeting at New Durham Library in New Durham with Executive Councilor Andru Volinsky (District #2). 7PM
    •  Thursday, April 12, 2018:TriTown Democrats Meeting at Emma Ramsey Center in Milton with Congressional Candidates Mark MacKenzie and Deaglan McEachern. 7PM
    •  Thursday, May 10th, 2018:TriTown Democrats Meeting at Emma Ramsey Center in Milton with Congressional Candidate Maura Sullivan 7PM
    •  Saturday, March 3, 2018  Farmington NH Woman's Club Candidate Meet and Greet at the Chilli/Chowder Cookoff. Candidates for town offices will be invited for an informal meet and greet.4-6 PM $8 Admission includes chilli/chowder and homemade desserts.
    • Town Elections will be held on Tuesday, March 13th.  Voting will be at the Town Hall/Opera House, as usual, and the polls will open at 8 AM and close at 7PM.  The Puddledock Press has posted a series of questions for Candidates to answer, if they so choose, so the voters can get to know them a little better and understand their positions so they may make informed decisions when they vote on March 13.  A list of open positions is posted and the answers or statements submitted by the Candidates are linked to the Candidate's name next to the position they hope to win in the election.  
    • The Town Meeting will be held on the following day, Wednesday, March 14th at 7PM at the Town Hall/Opera House.
